For an extension of this grade II listed building, Mechslip was chosen because it offered a mechanically fixed lightweight cladding system that suited the proposed method of construction, whilst also allowing the specific waterstruck brick type and English Garden Wall bond pattern dictated by the strict planning approval requirements to be easily achieved without compromise.
