MS1 (MechSlip) uses brick slips mounted to a lightweight, mechanically fixed anodised aluminium or galvanised steel cladding support system.
Use MS1 (MechSlip) indoors or out, wherever you want a safe, high quality, long-lasting cladding option. It’s compatible with modern construction methods including off-site, modular systems and with common substrates including:
- Steel frame
- Concrete frame
- Brickwork
- Dense concrete blockwork (min 1450kg/m3)
- Lightweight steel framing
- Existing masonry
Simple Components Offer Complete Control
All the benefits of MS1 (MechSlip) are delivered through dedicated components, a starter, middle and top rail, all extruded using tough, lightweight 6063T6 grade aluminium and anodised for increased durability, plus natural clay facing and corner brick tiles. Together, these can be fixed seamlessly to Ash & Lacy’s innovative range of AxiAL rainscreen support systems, making the entire design and installation process simple, from concept to completion.
